What does the TDRS stand for?




The TDRS or The Danish railway series is a series created by Sebastian J Berthelsen. Its main goal is to teach children both in Denmark and the outside world about danish railway history and the engines behind the danish railway. For example on the shown illustration, two engines from the Bornholm railway. Such illustrations is appearing in The Story of Dagmar, and other productions from this series.

About the author and    illustrator

 Sebastian J Berthelsen is an self taught author and illustrator . He has started up this project on his own and uses most of his time, producing the books for The Danish railway Series and the sister project The Danish tramway series. 


His art background comes from years of hard work and some help from his friends. He uses a mixture of hand drawn sketches and digital computer work to make his illustrations. 

He usually uses Softwares like InDesign, Sketchbook Pro, Photoshop, Word and just good ol' paper and pencil (although its special art pencils). 

When he's not busy with working on his books he's either undergoing education or out on "trainspotting" which he, is also making films about and have two DVD projects going on the subject. Other than that he's a volunteer at The Danish tramway museum Skjoldenæsholm, where he enjoy being and also have a books series going on about. 

So in Short. He's a young man, with lots of Ideas and projects and who works STONEHARD to realize his dreams!
